The motehr of Avera (Avraham) Mengistu and supporters protested near Hasharon Prison, North of Tel-Aviv, where Palestinian prisoners are held, calling for his release from Hamas captivity, July 25, 2016. Avera Mengistu is an Israeli Ethiopian Jew from Ashkelon, Israel, who crossed into Gaza through Zikim beach on September 7, 2014, was interrogated by Hamas, and Hamas claims he was then released.
